About
Bohannon Church Cemetery
The historic Bohannon Church and Cemetery sit atop a small knoll above the Calfkiller River on State Route 84 in Putnam County, Tennessee. Though the original school building is long gone, the Bohannon Church and Cemetery still serve as a gathering place for the descendants of the families that once farmed this valley and for all who still call it home.
The cemetery operates as a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers and supported by the tax-deductible contributions and annual donations for upkeep from descendants of those memorialized on these grounds.
